Appearing in both commercially successful blockbusters such as Saving Private Ryan, Ocean’s Trilogy and Bourne’s Series and arty and critically acclaimed ones as The Good Shepherd, The Departed and Coen Brothers’ True Grit, Mr. Mamon has undoubtedly established himself a major presence on the big screen. He is among the top 40 highest grossing actors of all time, proving his huge influence on the box office. He also has countless awards and nominations singing praise of his acting shops. All in all, Matt Damon, a once little boy coming from the underclass society of the Southy has now become one of the biggest stars in the States and internationally.
Over the years, Matt has been seen in a couple of sets of eyeglasses both in films and real life. The mystic pair he wore in the movie The Good Shepherd had left many craving and some even going through great difficulties tracking down. Turns out those specs were made by Ray-Ban and once the information was out, the model was flying off shelves the next morning. Another movie which sees Mr. Damon in glasses is The Talented Mr. Ripley, in which Damon played a poor student wanting the fame and attention from women of the playboy type character played by followed actor Jude Law. He played beautifully, depicting so vividly the inner struggles of the young man, and the pair of inquisitive glasses really helped a lot. In real life, Damon is a constant wearer of specs, too. Just recently, he was one the Late Late Show with David Letterman, talking about his once again collaboration with Clint Eastwood. The classy suit with a pair of eyeglasses made him shine like the star he is.
