For example, computer, a tool that brings us much convenience and happiness, is also of a main source of invisible pollution; when one works long before a computer, his or her eyes not only feel strained but also harmed by radiation. Although, our eyes are born to possess protective shields in form of eyebrow and eyelashes; when foreign matter enter eyes, tears produce which is able to help make those foreign matter outflow, necessary eye care should be done to reduce the risks of the effects of excessive strain.

Since eye is the most sensitive part of our body, nutrition to eyes is of importance. Taking right quantity of Vitamin A is helpful; a steady intake of minerals is also essential to maintain good eyesight. Besides, some topical applications are thought to be advantageous. For example, to refrigerate a teaspoon for a few minutes and then to put on the eyes and to take two bags of black tea and dab them onto the eyes for 15 to 20 minutes before going to bed.

Foods contain lots of nutrition as protein, vitamins, fatty acids and some microelement. They are of great help in protecting eyes.

Rhodopsin is consisted of protein, so protein supplements are essential. Eggs are rich for cysteine, amino acids, and sulfur. As well, soy is abundant with protein. Besides, it’s low in fat which is good for eyesight, too.

Another kind of nutrition is also quite important. Anthocyanosides can make capillaries stronger and bring more about rhodopsin. Bilberry jam is of this kind. Lutein can protect the macula where eyesight forms. And many foods are rich for lutein such as spinach, broccoli, citrus, brussel sprouts, corn, egg yolk, collards, and kale. Zeaxanthin is needed, too. You can eat collard greens, spinach and broccoli to get this nutrition.

We are supposed to enhance our eyesight in the long run. Though eyeglasses, contacts and surgeries can correct your vision immediately, they have risks more or less. Keep away from blurred vision!

Blurred vision is the lack of sharpness of vision and symptoms of not being able to see fine things, also called vision impairment, impaired vision, blurry vision. Blurred vision can be caused by many different conditions. Blurry vision occurs when a person who wears corrective lens, abnormalities present at birth, overexposure to the outdoors or a side effect of medications. Presbyopia can result in blurry vision too, mostly in your early to mid 40. Eye infection or injury may lead to blurred vision briefly. Cataracts always cause blurred vision, especially at nighttime. Glaucoma is another reason for blurred vision, which may happen suddenly. Macular degeneration can cause the loss of central vision, blurred vision and distorted vision. Diabetic retinopathy can not only lead to blurry vision but also blindness.

Blurred vision should not be ignored, because blurred vision can be the important clue to eye disease, aging, eye injury, retinal detachment or other conditions such as migraine, diabetes or stoke.
